Terminology
The following terms describe either a role or a functionality within the system.

Main Coordinator |
Can manage more than one scheme and also support to run other schemes without coordinators (allocated by MSA) |

Deputy |
Have function to see, change roles and message members of scheme as well as edit the scheme on the system |

Area Coordinator |
Are able to message schemes, contact coordinator, remap scheme etc |
|
Member (in the members section) |
These are members of the database. They may have joined via a different information providers, i.e. police, Action Fraud or Get Safe Online. |

Member (in the Neighbourhood Watch section) |
These are people who have joined via Our Watch website or they have joined a scheme. |
Function
|
Ability to put people into scheme |
No longer need to ask permission, add them in and they can then opt out if they would like. This is called suggested members and is defined by the mapping of the scheme. You can put them into the scheme – no need to approve. |

Mapping |
Only MSAs and Area Coordinators can change the mapping on a scheme |
|
Teams |
Ability for areas to have a team of MSAs so that they can communicate with each other. |
|
Empty scheme |
You can search for empty schemes in your area. These are when there are no members or Coordinators in the scheme. |
|
Schemes with no Main Coordinator |
These are schemes where the Main Coordinator has left for whatever reason – task will be to find a new Coordinator and get the scheme active again |

Duplicates |
These are where a person has more than one account on the system and needs to go down to just one record for each person. Establish which account is used and also which account is in a scheme for instance. |

Members with unmatched addresses |
This is where a members address appears correct, but because it has been manually entered by the member, the geo-coding (where they are placed in there policing areas) is wrong and they may be mapped within a different area. |

Approval of Coordinator/ scheme |
Schemes are approved in order to show as an approved scheme rather than Coordinators – however continue to approve the Coordinators as well in the member record. Both approve the scheme and the coordinator |

Information Provider |
This is determined by the user/member to decided who can communicate and see their personal data with, police, Neighbourhood Watch and OPCC for example |
|
Communication issues |
This means that they have had trouble being contacted, their email may have bounced back or a phone number is missing a digit |
|
Recipient list |
This is a list, created by you, of those people that you select to communicate with |
